2016 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps season
The 2016 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps season is the sixth year of the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps series, and the fifteenth season of the former Swiss Formula Renault Championship. The championship will begin on 9 April at Imola and will finish on 30 October at Barcelona after seventeen seven meetings.
==Race calendar==
The seven-event calendar for the 2016 season was announced on 3 October 2014.〔 As in two previous seasons, only three rounds will be held in Italy (Monza, Imola and Mugello). The Pau Grand Prix, Red Bull Ring, Spa-Francorchamps and Barcelona will be the remaining four rounds. Racec at Imola and Mugello will be the part of the Gruppo Peroni weekends, races Monza and Barcelona will be the part of International GT Open weekends, while races at Pau and Spa will be part of the Pau Grand Prix and Spa Euro Race respectively.
